REASON 9 is Microsoft Silverlight 5 application, which is designed to be an inherently safe internet web technology for applications. As with all Silverlight apps, it is hosted on a Microsoft IIS web server. So from a deployment perspective, REASON 9 is installed on the web server, and the workstations that will be accessing REASON 9 will need to have Silverlight 5 already installed or have permission to run the Microsoft installation for Silverlight 5 themselves.

From the user’s perspective, they simply load a web browser and go to the REASON 9 web site to use the app. This means they can run REASON on both Windows and Macintosh. REASON 9 is primarily provided as a software service. REASON 9 is hosted through a major datacenter provider with Microsoft Partner status and Gold Level Hosting certification. All data is SSL encrypted and in combination with their Gold Level Hosting, assured security makes this option safe and easy.

Fire suppression
  • VESDA – Very Early Smoke Detection and Alarm system; small white ‘air sampling tubes’ draw air into chambers, where lasers analyze the air for smoke content
